Intelligent NIx Agents

Network and customer operations are evolving with automation, but not without challenges. From data silos and legacy systems to vendor lock‑ins and budget constraints, operators are still navigating complex barriers that slow innovation and reduce efficiency. At Future Connections we develop smarter, simpler, impactful automation solutions and offer a range of consultancy services to bring agentic AI to the forefront of operational transformation.

Discover our agentic AI approach and our family of customisable, intelligent NIx Agents, designed to solve your challenges and bring autonomy and self-healing to your operations.

Agentic-based RAN and OpenRAN applications

Transform your RAN operations with our comprehensive suite of intelligent applications for monitoring, optimisation and autonomous network management across all radio access technologies.

NIx RAN applications leverage advanced AI and ML techniques and their architecture includes specialised agents, delivering autonomous network operations across the complete RAN lifecycle. As xApps/rApps, they are the preferred choice of operators who have embraced the OpenRAN principles

Real life implementations

We work very closely with our customers to deliver first-class implementations that align to their ecosystem and specific requirements. But don’t take our word for it.

NIx Energy Saver rApp in the O-RAN Virtual Exhibition

Our NIx Energy Saver rApp was showcased in the O-RAN ALLIANCE virtual exhibition at Mobile World Congress 2026. Deployed on MasOrange live network and operating on the Ericsson’s O-RAN Non-Real-Time RIC, the Ericsson’s Intelligent Controller (EIC), our intelligent RAN solution dynamically adapts to real traffic conditions, whether current or predicted, continuously adjusting energy-saving actions.

Future Connections rApps now available in the Nokia SMO Marketplace

We are proud to strengthen our collaboration with Nokia through the inclusion of our rApp solutions in the newly launched Nokia SMO Marketplace.

Future Connections’ rApps are software applications designed to optimise and manage the Radio Access Network within the Open RAN architecture. Now part of the Nokia SMO Marketplace, officially launched at Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2026, operators using Nokia’s SMO automation platform can select Future Connections’ rApps for their Open RAN deployments to support network optimisation and efficiency.

Accelerating autonomous networks with Google Cloud
