Traffic control at Jerez de la Frontera, Spain
New surveillance system for traffic control in downtown areas and near motorcycle concentrations for the motorcycle world championship held every year in the city.
In collaboration with SICE, Future Connections recommended, sourced and helped implementing a powerful new digital platform for the traffic control of Jerez de la Frontera. The solution implemented is from Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions Company, and includes a range of H4 multisensor and H4 IRPTZ cameras. Thanks to their 3 or 4 sensors, the multisensor cameras are able to provide high quality context images and adapt perfectly to the city’s traffic control infrastructure, with all camera sensors being equipped with video analytics capabilities. The H4 IRPTZ cameras feature a super zoom, high rotation speed and powerful adaptive IR capable of illuminating in complete darkenss up to 250 meter far.
The powerful technology of the new digital platform, enhanced with the video analytics capabilities embedded in the cameras, does not allow for any detail to be missed and delivers ease in the management of recordings that greatly facilitates the work of operators. Thanks to the scalability of the Avigilon platform, the implementation was carried out flexibly and gradually to meet the city’s traffic control requirements.
