- Using our Footprint app, we have developed a solution, powered by the VMware Centralized RIC, that automates the optimisation of cell coverage and user distribution for OpenRAN environments, providing optimum RAN performance, OPEX reductions and improved energy efficiency
The solution for the Spectrum Efficiency use case was selected as nominee in the TECHCOnnect Innovation Showcase, a program developed by VMware by Broadcom and Intel to identify and promote innovative use case-based OpenRAN solutions. Watch a brief demo video here
After successfully taking part in the O-RAN ALLIANCE Global Plugfest Fall '23 last Autumn, our solution is now also part of the O-RAN ALLIANCE Virtual Exhibition, aimed at introducing visitors through brief demo videos to the latest OpenRAN-based solutions available on the market

At Mobile World Congress we also discussed and shaped the future of OpenRAN. We shared our vision for Any-RIC Translator, our open middleware product that accelerates RAN automation app development in multi-vendor environments. We envision a product that:
- Eliminates a high degree of customisation caused by vendor-specific C-SON and RIC platforms and ecosystem dependencies
- Delivers portability across different C-SONs and RIC platforms
- Brings a step closer the implementation of OpenRAN principles
